Tool design department
During its existence, the tool design department has been involved in design and manufacture of more than 450 tools, particularly of plastic injection moulds. Cutting and bending tools and ceramic pressing moulds have lower share. The department has developed own design of more than 310 of them. The most tools have been manufactured in the Czechia, but there is also cooperation with companies in Germany, Portugal and China.
Mechanical development department
The mechanical development department is involved in creation of new STEINEL products. The most successful products include heat guns, hot glue guns, a complete line of radar lamps, halogen sensor lamps, infrared sensors and a lot of other items. The development department also manages the electronic database of STEINEL drawing documentation.
Electronic Development Department
The Electronic Development Department focuses on the design of electronic boards, the development of software applications as well as the development of high-frequency circuits and their measuring. All electronic devices can be tested according to the valid EN standards.
